EMC and Big Data

The students really enjoyed their visit with the representatives from EMC.  The students were given the task of deciding which t-shirt colors they would need to purchase in order to make the most money for their company.  They began by interpreting individual data, then moved on to small group data, and finally used the entire set of class data to determine their color preferences.

Travel Extravaganza

The students really enjoyed presenting their knowledge of the states and regions of the U.S. today.  They had an opportunity to play all of the region games this afternoon.  What fun!

The students thoroughly enjoyed learning about magnets and electricity last week from our friends at the Museum of Science.
